German universities to Abolish Tuition Fees

German universities were allowed to charge a tuition fee of 500 EURO per semester from 2007 which definitely definitely is peanuts when compared to what universiteis from UK, USA, Canada and Australia charge. Despite it led to strong outcry in the community and there have been growing protests from students to abolish the tuition fee. Well this shall come true and tuition fee for Higher Education In Germany shall be a history soon.

Out of 16 states only 7 states have introduced and persisited with tuition fee for Higher Education in Universities. And out of 7 states the 5 states have decided to phase out the Tuition fee from soon-to-be-started Winter Semester or next year's Summer Semester that leaves only Bavaria and Lower Saxony (Niedersachsen) still set on tuition fees.

This ofcourse is good news for all those outside Germany who opt Germany for Higher Education. It was always like a lottery for students from countries outside Germany to find a university which might offer an International Program of their choice and which does not charge any tuition fee. Now definitely the "FREE EDUCATION IN GERMANY" gets more real. Students from outside Germany now can plan more reliably their budget for Education in Germany with approx 2000 – 2500 EURO less, which for sure is a great save for many.

Well, so hurry up, Study Masters for FREE In Germany. Admissions for Summer semester 2012 are already on roll and deadline is fast nearing. Deadline for Summer Semester is OCTOBER 2011.
